Our room had an issue from a prior guest. The manager was very efficient and switched out our room, we lost a bit of sleep but all was good. The staff are very caring and go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. The location is good and breakfast was good.
This hotel is great. We are Platinum IHG, but the IHG properties in Durango have poor ratings so we stayed at Homewood Suites. We were so pleased with the cleanliness of the room. Literally, I don't care about anything but the cleanliness of a hotel room! The front desk, Alexandra, was great and we couldn't be more pleased with our stay. Thanks so much.
Stayed here for five nights and had a pleasant overall experience. From the check-in process to the cleanliness of the room, everything was well taken care of. Light housekeeping was done daily, and the room itself was spacious and inviting. There are just two small areas where improvements could be made. First, a shower cap was not available in the room and I had to go downstairs to request one. Second, as a Hilton Honors Gold member, the complimentary water was not provided at check-in and I had to return to the front desk to ask for it. Breakfast was decent each day, and cleanliness was consistently well maintained throughout the entire property.
This is the place to be if you want the friendliest service in town. Very caring staff ( especially Alejandra and Micki). Ordell is great at keeping us taken care of. I'm there Wed and Thur night every week of the year. Love this place.
If you are looking for a hotel to stay at in Durango. Homewood Suites is a top choice. I must first mention the outstanding customer service we received. A special shout out to Ordell who operated the front desk and was the gracious host at the Manager Happy Hour. Also kitchen staff member Blossom was so friendly and helpful. Both made us feel we were guests in their home! In additon, the rooms are comfortable and well appointed, the breakfasts are varied and delicious, the pool and sauna very clean and lastly the fitness center has great equipment.
Beds are very comfortable. The guests above is were stomping around early and late last night but no blame to the hotel for these inconsiderate guests. It was Halloween night maybe had some drinks in them. All in all was a good stay and great rooms
Traveled from Texas, with 3 kids and our furry baby Fiona. The room was very accommodating for the 5 of us and our Chihuahua. Service: exceptional well cleaned with speedy service for your needs. Employees: Smiles!! They greet you with warmth and such an amazing environment. Breakfast buffet: Free!!! You have so many options that you dont get boring taste buds. Every morning its a different layout. So fresh!!! Cleaning:: This is a plus for me! I have OCD, and i stress out easily. No mold in showers, carpets are well cleaned, didn't see any bed bugs, no roaches and no ants. Toilets were clean with zero stains (YOU KNOW THE URINE STAINS THAT LEAVE A RING IN THE BOWL). Constantly took out our trash and gave us fresh towels. Just a super awesome house cleaning... Accomodations: They have shampoo/conditioner, soap, lotion, dishwasher, sink, stove,fridge, tvs, pool/hot tub, laundry room,vending machines, grills,and so much mor. ***They love Dogs, Mr Kurt, Ordell continuously greeted Fiona with love and belly rubs and talked to her every chance he had. This hotel deserves 20+ stars, my kids felt safe and free in the hotel. My dog was welcomed with cuddles. My husband and I were stress free. Also take note we arrived early, And paid one night prior to our reservation, they graciously transferred our luggage to our reservation room that was ready prior to check in time.... We would absolutely stay here again! We stayed 4 nights while skiing Purgatory. The front desk staff were super helpful, the rooms were great (however they don’t have ovens like listed online), the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was impressive for a complimentary buffet breakfast.
